On November 17th, 2013 we decided to do a little junk yard tour of Southern Ontario looking for Mavericks, Comets and other assorted parts, bits and pieces. We did find a lot of Mavericks and Comets but they have been pretty much stripped clean after all these years. The great Canadian winters in Southern Ontario have not been to easy on all these left behind Mavericks and Comets so needless to say there is not much left. It did dawn on me at the time that this is technically the largest Maverick Comet car show (for lack of a better phrase) ever in Canadian history (not counting when they were new on a car lot) and has been for many many years. After our scrap yard tour we had a nice little breakfast at the Fifth Wheel Truck Stop in Milton. All in all it was a fun parts filled day with the boys crawling through the trees, weeds and mud looking for ,"stuff''.
So many Mavericks and Comets and trees and weeds and mud.......... total bone yard heaven!
Ontario, yours to discover.............. yep already covered!
Larry found himself a near mint Maverick hood or is it a Comet hood, they look so similar to each other!
No not a Maverick or Comet but yes a tree car or two.
Found this in the trunk, what it is............ dunno?
Always could use another steering wheel.
After our bone yard tour, a little lunch at the Fifth Wheel Truck Stop.
